Last night i got a bit creative with my photo editing program. I finally came up with a result i liked after a couple of failed attempts.

Nova is a local band made up of 4 members. Sean, vocals. Alex, drums. Luis, bass. Daniel, guitar. The band was originally formed by both Alex and Daniel in ‘05 and adding members as the years went by. Influence’s range from Deftones to Slayer. I personally know the vocalist of this band and have been to some of their awesome shows! You’ll find them playing here in the bay in local stops. Lately, I’ve been wondering why i havent updated you guys with the latest bands I’ve been listening to(since they’re so great) After all the thinking i did, i decided to post as many bands as i can as well as a short bio about them. So here i go….

Blind Pilot- 3 Rounds and a Sound

This folk band was formed by singer & guitarist, Israel Nebeker and drummer Ryan Dobrowski. Whom first toured on bike… yes on BIKE! Soon after their bicycle tour they released their June 2008 debut album, 3 Rounds and a Sound reaching number 13 on the Billboard Top Digital Albums Chart. Pizza, summer salad, skirt steak, potato soup & apple crisp. 

Since my boss went out to Brazil i was left with a whole lot of time on my hands; which not only meant i got to do more of the stuff I’ve been wanting to, but it also meant vacation time for me! One of the things i picked up was cooking. Yes I’ve done it before, but i never actually took the time to prepare meals for everyone to eat. The only times i would cook were to feed my hungry belly. As i got more used to my new & improved kitchen, i actually enjoyed making edible & yummy meals. The pictures above shot what i gladly cooked for my family this last month. Also included is a picture of the ravioli i made a few weeks ago(made from scratch. Thank you Angelo for teaching me how to make this wonderful masterpiece!) 

Not only was i left with the satisfaction that my family enjoyed it, but i also got to relax while preparing everything. 

coming back to tumblr and seeing nothing but picture re-blogs. What ever happened to the real blogs where there’s writing? People expressing themselves? Beliefs? Anyway, after a harsh month, A MONTH! Of not having Internet I’m finally back on this wagon. I have to admit, i missed my little tumblr world and venting out to complete strangers. I’m excited to blab away about all the exciting things I’ve encountered and learned. Stay posted my friends! Tonight’s going to be quite long for me & my cyber world.

Lindsay Lohan’s full Playboy pictorial has leaked and….I’ll admit when I’m wrong.  She is looking pretty hot, and as even my girlfriend said she has pretty awesome real boobs.

Were starting fresh. No more bullshit. No more immature stuff.

Were letting go of the mistakes.

And all the stuff in between. 

I’m ready to give my heart fully and not be scared to be loved. (as crazy as that sounds, I’ve always done the impossible to push someone away)

So here we go…

After last night and with today being thanksgiving, I’m thankful for my flaws. For every mistake I’ve made. And for being so careless. Why? Because those things have made me want to become not a better person, but instead, someone who actually cares. I’m not saying I’m this evil person who doesn’t give a fuck, but I’m no angel either. What I mean by saying “someone who actually cares” is that I want to put my guard down. I want to stop feeling attacked when in reality people are just showing me they care. I want to stop pushing the people that love me away. So this thanksgiving I’m making a resolution, to stop pushing away the people i love & show my love for them as well. A great guy told me today, “I believe that actions speak louder then words” which made me have a huge reflection. He made me want to grow not change because someone who loves you would never ask for you to change.

With that being said, Happy Thanksgiving. Lend a smile to someone! They might need it today.
